This international survey of literature on women and mass communications focuses on the 1990s and continues where the first volume, Women and Mass Communications: An International Annotated Bibliography (Greenwood, 1991), left off. Some pre-1990 works that were omitted in the first volume are included here as well. The work is organized by continents and regions and includes the Middle East; Asia, Australia and Oceania; Europe; Latin America and the Caribbean; and North America. The first chapter provides a global perspective, and the following chapters are divided topically. All genres of publications, such as books, periodicals, dissertations, and conference papers, are examined.
