Using the Dictionary and Thesaurus Tools in Read

1. From the Reference Books menu, click Dictionary or Thesaurus. The Questia Research Tools window opens.

2. In the For box, type the word you want to define, and then click Go. The page displays a dictionary or thesaurus entry for the word you entered if one is available.

3. Click Close to close the window and return to Read.

Tips

• You can also select text in Read, and then click Dictionary or Thesaurus from the Reference Tools menu. The system automatically searches the Dictionary or Thesaurus for the selected text.

• You can easily switch from Dictionary to Thesaurus entries for the same word by clicking Dictionary or Thesaurus in the drop-down list, and then clicking Go.
