The Questia service provides access to an encyclopedia as part of its library of resources. This can be searched as a regular part of the Questia library, or it can be accessed directly from Read.
To search the encyclopedia from Read
From the Reference Books menu, click Encyclopedia. A new window opens to the first page of the encyclopedia.
Perform a text search within the encyclopedia for the keyword you want to research.
Note
The encyclopedia opens in a new, smaller browser window. Close the window to return to the publication you were reading prior to accessing the encyclopedia. If you want to see the encyclopedia in a larger window, resize it (by pulling the corner of the window outward), and then click Refresh.
Tip
You can also look up articles in the encyclopedia by selecting text in the viewing area, and then clicking Encyclopedia from the Reference Tools menu. The encyclopedia automatically searches the section entries for the selected text.
