A book or journal article can be viewed in Read either with the line breaks adjusted to the screen width (screen-friendly format) or with the publisher's original line breaks. The default setting is to view with the screen-friendly format. The option to change this setting is available in Preferences.
To view the publication with the original line breaks
From the Edit menu, click Preferences.
Under Viewing Preferences, for the View publisher line breaks click the on radio button.
Click Save at the bottom of the page to apply the new setting.
Note
The Questia service always maintains and uses the page numbering of the original book, regardless of how the individual page is displayed.
