There are a number of ways to
move around in and view the book or journal currently displayed in Read.

Navigation Options
You can use any of the following options to scroll through the books
and journals on the Read tab.
Scrolling
Buttons–
To navigate from one page to the next, click the arrow buttons located
on the bottom of the viewing area.
Go
To Page Button– To
navigate to a specific page number, enter the page number in the text
box on the bottom of the page, and then click or press
Enter.
Hyperlinks
Within the Document– There
are many hyperlinks displayed within the text of the viewing area in Read.
For example, the page numbers on the Table of Contents page are linked
to the chapters or sections noted on the Table of Contents. These links
appear as blue, underlined text, and can be accessed by clicking the hyperlinked
text.
Notes
Referenced works that are not part of the Questia
library are not hyperlinked.
Menu Options
The menus on the Read page offer the following options:
Projects–
Change, rename, or create your Workspace project
New Project– create a new
Workspace project
Change Project– change
the project to which your markups are currently being saved
Rename Project– rename
the current Workspace project
Find in
Book –- locate all occurrences of the specified
keyword within the current book or journal article
Bookshelf– Add
to or view your Bookshelf publications
Add to Bookshelf - add the current publication to your bookshelf
View Bookshelf
- view the publications put on your bookshelf
Bookmark–-
Save a link to the page you are reading which you can later return to
from Workspace
Highlight
–- Select text on the current page and
then click the Highlight tool to choose a color to highlight the text
which you can later return to from Workspace
Add Note–-
Create a note in which you write on the current page you are reading
Quote/Cite–-
Create a citation to the page you are reading that you can paste into
your paper. Highlight a passage to include that passage as a quotation
and then click the Quote/Cite button to choose the style and type. The
citation will be saved in your Workspace so you can return to the page
later.
Bibliography–
Create bibliographies
Add to Bibliography– make
a bibliography entry for the current book or journal
Create Bibliography– create
a bibliography from the current list of entries
Print - Presents the text of
the page in a printable format and opens your Print dialogue box.
Reference Books–
Access the Dictionary, Thesaurus, and Encyclopedia
Dictionary – open the Dictionary
in a new window
Thesaurus– open the Thesaurus
in a new window
Encyclopedia– open the Encyclopedia
in a new window
Preferences
– Modify
your preferences for viewing, printing, searching and citations
Viewing – select font
type and size, turn on/off table of contents, publisher line breaks, and
popup help
Printing– enable black
and white format, printing highlights and printing notes
Searching– select full
or brief publication descriptions and the number of results to display
per page
Citations– select default
citation style and type and select which kinds of citations to include
in your bibliography
Help
- Access online help documentation, frequently asked questions, or recommended
system requirements
Questia Help– open the online help documentation
Questia FAQ– open the frequently asked questions
System
Requirements– open
