I'd like to bring my acting to a higher level!

This is how the 20-year-old theater-honed actress Liza Dino explained why she signed-up a few months ago with GMA Artist Center in her desire to join show business.

Acting is more of a passion for me. I want to try a different medium. I know that what I did in theater I also could do in the mainstream. Theres a new kind of fulfillment here, added the 2001 Mutya ng Pilipinas winner.

Some of her experience in acting came from her stints with U.P. Dulaang Sibols plays like Tony Mabesas Othello and the controversial Spanish play Divinas Palabras.
