When David and Tessa Snell moved into their three-bedroom Thirties house in Surrey two years ago the place hadn't been decorated in over 15 years.
The first thing the couple did was to repaint the entire placeoff-white.
Since then, as time and money have allowed, they have gone through giving each room a facelift.
David, 45, a tax consultant who works in Guildford, Surrey, does most of the painting and decorating himself. His wife Tessa, 35, has her hands full keeping the house and looking after the couple's six-year old son Tristan.
