You are offered a brilliant radio job but you hate the co-presenter. Would you accept?
I would accept if they were offering me loads of money, but I would try to be horrible to the person and hope they would to leave.
Your best friend is about to marry someone you think is totally unsuitable. Do you give them your opinion?
Definitely. In fact this is happening at the moment - a friend of mine is thinking of marrying a guy for all the wrong reasons, and I am are trying to dissuade her. But often people don't want to hear those things.
You discover a diary your partner has been keeping secretly. Do you read it?
Absolutely - I would even photocopy all the nasty bits and use them as ammunition if we ever split up. I even go through people's drawers looking for things because it is positive to know what your partner thinks about you. Fiona keeps a diary, but annoyingly she writes in a strange code so I cannot read it. I have tried to decipher it in the past, and she once explained a passage to me after I confronted her - fortunately the section she read out was incredibly complimentary about an intimate moment we had shared.
Your bank has wrongly credited you with [pounds sterling]500. Do you say anything?
No, I would keep quiet and hope no one noticed.
A casual acquaintance asks you to buy five lottery lucky dips for him.
Would you tell him if he won the jackpot? This is a difficult one. I would like to think that I would tell the person and he would be grateful enough to reward me substantially for my honesty. But if the prize was huge, I could see myself feeling guilty but extremely happy lying on my yacht in Antigua.
A friend lends you some videos but mistakenly includes a saucy one of him and his girlfriend. Would you watch it? I think it would be hysterical. I would probably watch the video, then give it back, awarding marks out of ten for their performance.
A good friend who is trying to break into the music business asks you to play his record on your show but you think it is terrible. What do you do?
I would say it wasn't right for my show and give some constructive criticism about what was wrong with it. It would be painful but in this business you have to be brutally honest.
You discover a prominent politician is having an affair with your next-door neighbour - would you tip off the Press?
