RP Enhances Negotiating Capability in WTO

The Philippines has further enhanced its capability to negotiate for the countrys application and implementation of the rules and obligations of the World Trade Organization to effectively promote national interest in future trade talks with other WTO members, an official said yesterday.

The Department of Trade and Industry with other government agencies has just concluded a yearlong series of programs to improve the countrys participation in upcoming trade negotiations and the effective implementation of trade agreements covered under WTO.
