PsycINFO Revises and Enhances

The American Psychological Association has announced several changes and enhancements to PsycINFO and its related databases.

These are: a substantial revision to the PsycINFO and PsycLIT classification system; the reload of the PsycINFO database on Data-Star; the publication of a new PsycSCAN in the area of neuropsychology; and the publication of a new edition of the PsycINFO User Manual.

The revision of the classification system for the PsycInfo and the PsycLIT databases, with the print index, Psychological Abstracts, includes the introduction of three new categories: Intelligent Systems; Psychology and the Humanities; and Forensic Psychology and Legal Issues. The …
