A local lawyer recently joined forces with a women's ministry to host a downtown health clinic aimed at women.
The Just for You Women's Clinic was held Saturday at the Mary Singleton Center downtown.
It featured cholesterol, glucose and blood pressure screenings, breast exam demonstrations and health information talks in addition to a variety of events "just to boost their confidence and make them feel better about themselves," said organizer Thelma Rigby, founder of Blessed Deliverance Ministries that hosted the clinic.
