SVEN-GORAN ERIKSSON will send a scout to watch Andrew Johnson for one last time tomorrow before he names the England squad to face Holland.

The head coach and his right-hand man, Tord Grip, have both checked up on the Crystal Palace striker and there are strong indications he will be included.

Johnson, the top-scoring Englishman in the Premiership with 15 goals, has impressed with his strike record and work-rate and Alan Smith's ankle injury is likely to pave the way for his first call-up.

The Manchester United striker has been sidelined for three weeks and is not expected to be risked in Wednesday's friendly at Villa Park.
