FOR all you rock 'n' rollers out there and long-standing supporters of Foleshill Ex-Servicemen's Club, the steward, Bob Davison, is retiring soon after 20 years.
To mark the occasion and raise money for the appeal, Coventry Lions are organising a rock 'n' roll night with live bands at the club in Foleshill Road on February 26. Tickets cost pounds 3. Phone Bob Davison on 024 7668 8335.
Donations received this week include pounds 5 from Mrs Turton, pounds 17.50 from Mrs Jones, pounds 25 from The Saints Dramatic Society, pounds 95 from St James Church and pounds 300 from the Coventry Federation of CIU Clubs.
