DepEd Slates Summer Scholarship Program for Teachers

PASIG CITY A Department of Education (DepEd) Integrated Scholarship Program (DISP) for summer 2005 has been scheduled for deserving public elementary school teachers from 17 regions.

Education Secretary Florencio B. Abad said the DISP will be conducted by the University of the Philippines (UP) in Diliman, Quezon City, from April 4 to 28 (an equivalent of 22 contact days).

Abad said the DISP will specifically be administered by the National Educators Academy of the Philippines (NEAP) and the DepEds Staff Development Division - Human Resource Development Service (SDD-HRDS).
