The future prosperity of businesses in Swansea city centre is to get a boost with a key new appointment. Beth Winkley has been given the role of helping lead the city's retail district into a new era in her role as city centre manager.
She said, 'This is a very exciting time for our city centre.
'We are already feeling the impact of the opening of the New Stadium, the SA1 development, Salubrious Place, the imminent opening of the National Waterfront Museum, the work on Princess Way and the plans for the redevelopment of the Quadrant Bus Station.
'There is a clear message from investors that they have confidence in the city, and I feel very privileged to be in a position to help drive the city centre forward.'
JULIAN HODGE BANK has appointed Austin Kennedy to the position of risk director.
Reporting directly to executive deputy chairman Jonathan Hodge, Mr Kennedy joins the bank following a 36-year career with Barclays Bank where he held many positions including that of Head of Corporate Business, Cardiff.
In his new role he will be responsible for all aspects of credit risk management, encompassing signing off credit applications to the bank's board, maintaining the quality of the lending book and minimising bad debt. …
