Northumberland NFU chairman Carron Craighead is encouraging farmers to adopt a fresh approach towards the British livestock industry ahead of this week's county AGM.
With winter the traditional time to look back over the year, Carron says no one can avoid reflecting on the impact of CAP reform, particularly on the livestock sector.
But she said that it was time farmers turned over a new leaf in the New Year and adopted a different mindset towards their business.
