THE Football Association are set to interview Queens Park Rangers manager Ian Holloway over his claim that he was offered, and rejected, a [pounds sterling]30,000 bung from an agent.
Luton manager Mike Newell met FA officials this week after allegations over 'bungs' being offered during transfer talks and now Holloway has spoken out to detail how he was offered money by an agent to push through a free transfer.
Holloway said: "There are agents out there with whacking great wheelbarrows who say, 'Fill that up with money'.
"I thought I was getting a certain player on a free transfer.
His agent then came back to me and said 'my fee is this amount and you will get that from it'.
"I went back to the board and said, 'You must be joking'. I earn my money through my contract, not any other way. I've got nothing to hide."
Holloway reported the bung offer, which he refused, to former Rangers chairman Nick Blackburn.…
