Welsh schoolchildren could be taught how to have safe gay sex as part of the curriculum, putting politicians at loggerheads with religious groups. In a massive review of sex education, pupils will be surveyed by Welsh schools' inspector Estyn about what they would like to be taught. And if the kids recommend it, they may get lessons in how to practice safe gay sex starting in 2008.
Teachers in Wales can currently talk about homosexual relationships in sex education lessons but it is not part of the curriculum.
