SIXTIES pop star Wayne Fontana is facing police action after publishing the personal details of Treasury officials on the internet.

Fontana - real name Glyn Ellis - has made repeated attacks on HM Revenue & Customs in the two years he has been involved in a dispute with the tax authorities.

But the clash escalated last week when Fontana, 61 - leader of the once hugely popular Mindbenders - published on the net the home addresses of a VAT inspector and an insolvency practitioner.
