A SPECIALIST pub equipment company is set to buy its nearest competitor for pounds 3.8m and become the only major player in the sector.
Stockton-based Brulines has agreed to buy North Yorkshire pub equipment and information management firm Nucleus Data Holdings.
The deal is currently awaiting the stamp of approval by government consumer interest group the Office of Fair Trading.
If it gets the green light as expected, Brulines will become the dominant force in the beer measurement and monitoring market.
