THIS was 1987 all over again.
Twenty years of hurt and disappointment and of hanging onto the FA Cup winning memory were suddenly swept away on a glorious night in a magnificent setting.
The Sky Blue anthem had not sounded so loud and so good since that Wembley afternoon.
The official attendance at Old Trafford on Wednesday night was flashed up as 74,055.
But it included over 11,000 Coventry City fans - who packed behind one goal and sang and cheered themselves hoarse to acclaim the unbelievable.
The other three-quarters of the stadium was silenced by City's performance on the pitch and the wave of support from the East Stand.
One wag announced: "They're the prawn sandwich brigade - we're the meat pie fans!"
As the Red ends of the ground began to empty well before the final whistle, the air turned Sky Blue with chants of "Que Sera, Sera - We're going to Wem-berley". …
