CLARK FREEPORT, Pampanga -- The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) and the US military will conduct joint military and community outreach activities during the "Talon Vision" exercises starting on Monday, Oct. 15, officials of the Philippine Air Force 600th Air Base Wing (ABW) Command announced.
Col. Alejandro Camagay Jr., new 600th ABW Commander, said that this year's activities will also feature an aircraft exhibit showcasing 40 jet planes and several modern helicopters.
The aircraft exhibit will be open to the public on Oct. 20 and 21.
Camagay announced the formal opening of the joint RP-US military exercises and the aircraft exhibit, which will also include some of the PAF's own aircraft, during the regular meeting of the Metro Clark Advisory Council (MCAC) last Wednesday.
MCAC is chaired by Clark Development Corp. (CDC) President Liberato Laus and co-chaired by Mabalacat Mayor Marino Morales. MCAC is composed of the mayors of Porac, Magalang, Angeles City, Mabalacat, and Mexico, all in Pampanga, and Capas, Bamban, and Concepcion in Tarlac, and several executives and directors of the CDC.
Camagay was recently installed as the new wing commander of the 600th ABW, replacing Brig. Gen. Gilbert Lllanto.
