BIG FISH Alan Trouten sunk minnows Annan as he bagged a brilliant double on his Clyde debut.
The former Queen's Park star pounced twice in the second half to condemn the SFL new boys to defeat on their big-league bow.
And the 22-year-old plans to light up the First Division with more goals for John Brown's side.
He said: "I scored 14 goals last season and just tried to do the same in front of goal as I did with Queen's.
"It has been absolutely brilliant to move up to the First Division. The boys have made me feel welcome."
Annan boss Harry Cairney was sad to see his side's historic baptism end in defeat but was still full of praise for his battling players.
He said: "We're disappointed to lose but we had some decent performances.
"We knew we were up against it but asked our guys to keep the ball as well as they could - and they did that."
Annan kept Clyde quiet early on and the first chance came after 30 minutes when Trouten fired into the side-netting. …
