PRINCE WILLIAM is to join up with Britain's elite soldiers.
The 26-year-old officer and heir to the throne will study all aspects of combat with the the UK's special forces.
Bu this two-month attachment to the SAS and attached units will not involve him going on operations to Iraq or Afghanistan.
This secondment will be the final stage in his year-long tour with the three services.
It is part of his preparations to one day become king and, as such, the head of the country's armed forces.
