Central Mindanao Regional Executive Director of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) Jim O. Sampulna also sought the assistance of media practitioners in the region to help the government in closely watching violators of mining laws, and immediately report to RMDC.
DENR Assistant Secretary for Line Bureaus Jeremias L. Dolino and Mines and Geosciences Bureau (MGB) Director Horacio C. Ramos, emphasized the vital participation of all sectors of the society, particularly working journalists in helping preserve and protect the natural resources.
Both expressed their appreciation to the RMDC for actively implementing the mining laws, rules and regulations in Central Mindanao.
