NEWCASTLE child killer Mary Bell has become a grandmother.
Bell was just 11 in 1968 when she strangled four-year-old Martin Brown and three-year-old Brian Howe in separate incidents in Scotswood.
Now 51, the woman at the centre of one of the most sensational trials of the 20th Century has become a grandmother, it has been revealed.
Bell was granted anonymity for life by the courts and has had a succession of new identities. The order also includes Bell's 24-year-old daughter, and has now been extended to her grandchild.
