A TUTOR from Caerphilly has been named Wales' tutor of the year at the Inspire Adult Tutor and Mentor Awards.

Judith Archer, who was also the Basic Skills Tutor of the Year, received both awards at a special ceremony at Llanhilleth Miners Institute, Blaenau Gwent.

The awards are organised by NIACE Dysgu Cymru, advocates of adult learning in Wales, to celebrate the commitment, knowledge and communication skills that inspire adult learners every day across Wales.
