Springfield High School graduation begins at 7 p.m. Friday, June 5 at Silke Field.
Students with the Highest Honors include JT Alston, Naomi Campollo, Timothy Costin, Alec Crisman, Marshall Curry, Zachary Ennis, Erik Hastie, Chloe Hunt, Emily Hunt, Savannah Martin, Stephen Smith, Terence Travess, Jacqueline Thompson and Amber Zemp.
Alston is the son of Burke and Sheila Alston. He's the class treasurer, is a member of the National Honor Society, the symphonic and jazz bands, Band Council and the football team. He plans to study environmental engineering at Brigham Young University.
Campollo is the daughter of Tammatha and Johnny Campollo. She was in the symphonic, pep and marching bands, participated in school musical productions, and was involved in the National Association of Women in Construction Competition. She plans to study architecture and Spanish at the University of Oregon.
Costin, the son of Mitch and Jean Costin, was a member of the cross country and track teams, and National Honor Society. He plans to study business and compete in cross country and track at the University of Oregon.
Crisman is the son of Fred and Michelle Crisman. He was involved in theater, Peer Productions, choir and National Honor Society. He plans to study theatre, political science, psychology or journalism at the University of Oregon.
Curry, the son of Mark and Ronnel Curry, was a member of the football, basketball, baseball and track teams. He particpated in band and National Honor Society, served as class president and is student body president. He plans to attend Willamette University and will major in either chemistry or political science.
Ennis is the son of Kyle and Maury Ennis. He was vice-president of National Honor Society, a senior class council representative and a member of the football, basketball and track teams. He plans to attend Brigham Young University, majoring in engineering.
Hastie is the son of D'Wayne and Carla Hastie. He was a member of the basketball, track and cross country teams. He plans to attend the University of Oregon, majoring in human physiology and business.
Chloe Hunt is the daughter of Kyle Hunt and Trisha Eining. She was a member of National Honor Society, yearbook, Freshmen Crew, Relay for Life, track and volleyball teams. She was a LEDA Scholar. She plans to attend the University of Puget Sound, majoring in forensic anthropology or art history.
Emily Hunt, the daughter of Kyle Hunt and Trisha Eining, was a member of the marching, symphonic and jazz bands and Band Council. She plans to attend Linn-Benton Community College for veterinary technology before transferring to Oregon State University for veterinary medicine.
Martin, the daughter of Virgil Martin Jr., was a member of National Honor Society, the Human Rights Alliance, Students Opposed to Drugs and Alcohol, Chess Team and Chemistry Club. She was a LEDA scholar. She plans to attend Dartmouth College, majoring in biology or chemistry.
Smith, the son of Curtis Smith, was a member of the cross country and track teams, National Honor Society and VICA. He plans to attend Oregon State University, majoring in either civil or mechanical engineering.
Travess is the son of Mike and Bunny Travess. He was a member of the football, basketball and baseball teams, was a student body Social Promoter, a National Honor Society member and worked with Meals on Wheels. He plans to attend the University of Oregon, majoring in business.
Thompson is the daughter of Jon and Donna Thompson. She was a member of the volleyball and track teams. She is also a member of National Honor Society, Chemistry Club, Leadership and a Freshmen Crew Leader. She plans to study business at the University of Puget Sound.
