UO Hires Athletics Finance Director

Less than a week after it became known that a second high-profile University of Oregon athletic department employee started his job without a contract, the school announced there's a new finance and administration guru in town.

The university has appointed Jamie Moffitt, now the associate dean for finance and operations at the UO School of Law, to a newly created position with a nine-word-long title: executive senior associate athletic director for finance and administration.

Moffitt will direct all aspects of the athletic department's business operations, according to a university press release.
