THE majority of British businesses think environmental policy is unclear and there is a lack of cohesive thinking between the Government and climate change agencies.
Some 94% of organisations questioned said they anticipated environmental law affecting them in the next two to three years, but two-thirds said they felt environmental policy was ambiguous, revealed the survey by PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Almost seven out of 10 (68%) of businesses said they wanted the Government to take the lead in tackling climate change through policy and regulations.
