THE implications of the National Broadband Network for Coffs Harbour businesses and the community will be discussed at two free seminars being hosted by Southern Cross University on Tuesday, October 5.
Organised by the University's Regional Futures Institute, the seminars will provide information for participants on how broadband technology can be used in areas including health, education and business.
The first seminar will be held from 2pm to 4pm and is aimed at members of the broader community.
The second seminar, targeting business and industry, will be held from 5.15pm to 7.15pm.
The seminars will be led by Professor Peter Croll, Professor of Information Technology and Information Systems at Southern Cross University, and will include a presentation by NBN Co. representative Glenn Holdstock.
The business seminar will also include a case study presentation by Mark Wolf from the award-winning company Greenspan Technology Pty Ltd.
