NCAA champion San Beda shoots for a Final Four berth today when it battles La Salle in the Elite Eight of the 2010 Philippine Collegiate Champions League at The Arena in San Juan.Out to prove that they're tougher and sharper than their UAAP counterparts, the Red Lions put on a masterful 86-64 demolition of University of the East last Thursday with NCAA Most Valuable Player Sudan Daniel posting 20 points and 22 rebounds.The win earned the Red Lions the right to face their former NCAA rivals at 4 p.m.The Archers advanced to Elite Eight by trouncing Letran, 70-56.Clashing at 2 p.m. are Far Eastern University and Adamson.After an historic season that saw San Beda complete an 18-game sweep of the 86th NCAA championship, coach Frankie Lim is also out to beat their UAAP rivals in the PCCL to cement their status as the country's premier collegiate team.And a warning to the Archers - Lim wants to win the PCCL crown without a loss."Malaki ang expectation sa amin," said coach Frankie Lim.
