Parenting classes offered:
The DuPage County Health Department is sponsoring a three-session parenting class on Tuesday nights in February in Wheaton. The classes are intended for parents of children ages 1 to 4. The evening classes, which should be taken as a three-class series, cover many of the challenges of being parents, including disciplining young children, routines to make life easier, child-proofing the home and tips for parents on how to take care of themselves. The classes are scheduled from 6:30 to 8:15 p.m. Feb. 8, 15 and 22 at the Health Department's Central Public Health Center, 111 N. County Farm Road, Wheaton.
