THE School of Business at The University of Wales Trinity Saint David has announced that from September 2011 it is to concentrate its postgraduate programmes of studies on its Lampeter campus where a broad range of taught courses and research degrees will be delivered to students from all parts of the world.
Commenting on this development the Head of School, Conny Matera-Rogers, said: "The Trinity Saint David School of Business combines the strengths of well-founded academic traditions of the past with a dynamic and progressive approach to the challenges and opportunities of the future.
"The Lampeter campus, which is in the very centre of one of Wales' most friendly small urban towns offers postgraduate students a perfect mix of learning and social environment. In our experience postgraduate students have flourished under these conditions."
The School has active links with businesses and organisations from several sectors, and the research programmes reflect this variety and depth of knowledge, with MPhil and PhD topics in subjects such as SMEs and entrepreneurship; business performance (including specialist sectors such as health and tourism); business strategy and regional competitiveness; and promoting ICT to female students. …
