XFACTOR bosses are set to sign up R&B singer Tulsia Contostavlos in the wake of the sudden and dramatic departure of Dannii Minogue.
The N-Dubz singer, pictured right, was originally meant to replace Cheryl Cole, who is now filming The X Factor USA.
Yesterday, Dannii confirmed the shock rumours that she wouldn't be returning to the show, as producers refused to switch around the audition dates so that she could juggle The X Factor with filming of Australia's Got Talent.
Louis Walsh will be the only original judge on the panel, as Simon Cowell is said to be close to signing up Take That singer Gary Barlow, as well as a female American. Names in the frame include Fergie from the Black Eyed Peas and Vanessa Hudgens, of High School Musical fame. A show source said: 'Tulisa is volatile, fashionable and speaks her mind. She will really appeal to viewers.' The glamorous brunette has often spoken about her troubled childhood growing up on a tough estate in London.
A UTV insider confirmed Dannii Minogue had been ousted: 'We wanted to freshen up the panel. Although there was a clash of dates, it would not have been insurmountable if everyone had really wanted to keep her.' Miss Minogue …
