CHESTER law firm Aaron &Partners has filed record financial results and appointed four new partners.
The Foregate Street firm achieved fee income for the year to April 30 of pounds 5.75m, its highest so far, and a 5.1% improvement on the previous year.
Profits at the commercial law firm showed a 3.5% increase.
And the latest round of internal promotions has increased its number of partners to 23.
In keeping with its policy of promoting internal talent, Adam Kerr and Emyr Kerfoot, from the firm's litigation team, have been made partners, while family lawyer Elisabeth Pugh and environment and waste management specialist Claire Petricca-Riding have also achieved partner status.
Meanwhile, Catherine Kerr, in the firm's employment team, and Shabina Ali, in insolvency, have both been made associates.
Aaron &Partners chief executive Andy Duxbury, who was himself made a partner recently, congratulated the newly-promoted lawyers on their achievement, and added: "The economic environment remains a challenging one. …
