Alec Baldwin Kicked off Flight in Phone Fury

A STONY-FACED Alec Baldwin sits in Los Angeles airport after being ejected from his flight for refusing to turn off his mobile phone.

The 53-year-old actor was accused of becoming 'violent, abusive and aggressive' after the New York-bound jet left the gate to prepare for take-off.

An American Airlines crew member, who did not want to be named, said she asked him five times to get off his phone.

Baldwin was then said to have thrown down his papers and s ormed into the bathroom.

'He started beating on the wall and he pounded his fists on the galley counter - yelling, screaming, very ugly,' the crew member said. 'It was unsafe to keep him on board that's why he got kicked out.'

She added: 'Everybody is the same. Everyone has to follow the rules, it doesn't matter who you are.' On Twitter, the star of the sitcom 30 Rock said he had been playing an 'addictive' Scrabble game, Words With Friends.

He blasted American Airlines, saying it was 'where retired Catholic school gym teachers from the 1950s find jobs as flight attendants'.

He added: 'Flight attendant on American reamed me out 4 playing WORDS W FRIENDS while we sat at the gate, not moving. …
