Wiley-Blackwell, part of John Wiley & Sons, Inc., recently launched the Wiley Job Network, a new global job-search platform for Wiley Online Library (WOL) users.
With its straightforward name, this specialized platform is designed to provide users with highly relevant listings and employers with a highly targeted audience. "Our readers are very specialized, highly educated, qualified professionals in research and business fields," says Eileen Dolan, director of market development.
The platform features job listings across 11 specialized career sites in five sectors: Healthcare, Science and Technology, Business and Finance, Law and Criminology, and Arts and Humanities. The nearly 10,000 jobs that are currently posted on the platform span opportunities in six continents.
To find out about job openings instantly, users can create up to five email alerts, all of which can be customized to include multiple criteria for filtering potential careers. Dolan says applicants also have the option of creating separate profiles if they are interested in different fields and want to route email alerts to separate email addresses.
The job network highlights opportunities for WOL users who are at any point on their career paths, from entry-level and graduate positions to academic and professional posts. Job seekers can create profiles, upload their resumes, and apply to specific jobs directly on the main website. …
