MANILA, Philippines - To encourage support for international efforts in poverty eradication, the promotion of full employment, gender equality, and justice for all, World Day of Justice is observed on February 20 each year. Initiated by the United Nations General Assembly, the event is an excellent opportunity to focus attention on the barriers to social well being that millions of people face because of gender, age, race, ethnicity, religion, or disability.
