Mortgage Builder Software, Southfield, Michigan, a provider of loan origination and loan servicing software for the mid-tier and larger residential mortgage lenders and servicers, has made enhancements to its loan origination system (LOS) platform. Mortgage Builder's next-generation LOS also comes with a new name--Architect. This is the first name change for the company's flagship product since it was first introduced in 1998.
Mortgage Builder Architect is joined by Blueprint[TM], the advanced electronic document management (EDM) capability for paperless lending and digital file delivery, and Surveyance[TM], Mortgage Builder's Web-based loan originator portal that features mobile applications components to maximize field time for loan officers. Both modules have been redesigned to work perfectly within Architect, and have been renamed to reflect their recent enhancements and expanded functionality.
The re-architecture of Mortgage Builder's core LOS solution takes advantage of the most current technology available, according to the company. Architect is built using Microsoft[R] Windows[R] Communication Foundation (WCF), Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) and extensible application markup language (XAML), all on a .NET[TM] framework. The new infrastructure of Architect will allow for continued growth in the platform as industry and client needs change.
