TO KICK off the New Year, we have racehorse owner Mark Duthie as our Turf Talk guest.

Mark lives at Penhow between Cardiff and Chepstow, where the Llangibby Hunt once held their annual point-to-point steeplechases.

He runs a haulage company and the first racehorse he ever owned was Captain Gibson, which gave him his first success in 2000.

Since then, Mark has cheered home around 30 winners and these include Sir Benfro, Rendl Beach, Tenby Jewel, Crannagh Boy and Castle Beach.

He's had horses in training with Rebecca Curtis, Keith Goldsworthy, David Evans and Dominic Ffrench Davis.
