Republic National Names Executive Vice Presidents
NEW YORK -- The Republic National Bank of New York has named five new executive vice presidents. Four of them are responsible for aspects of the bank's international operations.
The appointments are: Kurt Anderson, Anthony Dyson, Terrence Lloyd, Thomas Weiner, and David Rubin, who is involved in Republic National's factoring business.
Republic National, founded in 1966 by financier Edmond J. Safra, has expensive overseas operations, including private banking for the wealthy, precious metals trading, and bank note dealing. Mr. Safra is still a substantial stockholder of Republic National.
Mr. Anderson, 41, is senior vice president, responsible for Republic National's Hong Kong Operations. He has worked with Republic National for 16 years, and spent 10 years in London in foreign exchange, precious metals, and money market trading.
Mr. Dyson, 44, is senior vice president and managing director of Republic New York (U.K.) Ltd., responsible for international capital markets trading in London.
Mr. Lloyd, 41, is senior vice president in charge of international operations. …
