Here we go again! I will never understand why some individuals feel they have an exclusive right to revise history ("Museums hide stars on plane, anger vets," Dec. 29). If Linda Webster (or anyone else involved with the National Symphony Ball) takes exception to artifacts housed in our museums, they should select another location for their annual event.
Raising funds for the National Symphony is an admirable undertaking; however, it is not so important as to justify cloaking historical facts. Ms. Webster is reminded that without the sacrifices of our military veterans and the weapons they used during World War II, (including the "offensive" P-39) the National Symphony might …
