Many sites on the Internet are just fun to look at, read, browse through or play with. Many other sites, though they may be all of these things, also offer something a little bit more - the chance to learn something.
This month, with summer upon us and the kids getting ready to yell "but there's nothing else to do except for the computer" let me introduce you to five sites that parents and kids, from little to teen, can visit and learn from together. And maybe you will all get outside and enjoy the summer weather, for a little while. . . .

SITE ADDRESS: http://cmp1.ucr.edu/exhibitions/cmpedprog.html
RECOMMENDED USER GROUP: A lesson plan for parents and kids K-10 to work on together. This is a great place to visit for ideas on how to start a summer video or photography project together. The sites offers easy access to educators at U of C who I am sure would be anxious to answer any questions that you might have, send you source information or lead you in the right direction. Who knows? You may have a young Ansel Adams right in your very own home.
