MACON, Ga. -- A group of 13 current and former professors has filed a lawsuit against Gordon College, its president, the Georgia Board of Regents and three faculty members accusing them of sexual discrimination.
The complaint, filed last week in U.S. District Court in Macon, seeks $15 million in damages, contending the school had "an unspoken mandate that females must behave in a submissive and docile manner."
The suit accuses Gordon College President Jerry Williamson, one of the defendants, of following "a course of conduct designed to discriminate against the female employees," and created "an atmosphere of fear and intimidation at Gordon College" for male …
