The Philippine National Police (PNP) National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) topped the Performance Evaluation Rating on overall performance in crime busting and maintenance of peace and order, besting 15 other PNP regional offices in the country.
PNP Chief director General Panfilo M. Lacson expressed satisfaction over the overall performance of the 16 PNP regional offices, adding that they performed at par in both administrative and operational aspects. He also noted that none of the police regional offices scored failing mark on their ratings.
"Although I am already satisfied with how the Regional Offices have performed, I believe that there is still room for improvement and that should be our main concern for the rest of the year," Lacson told PNP regional directors at a command conference.
According to Senior Supt. Nicanor Bartolome, PNP spokesman, the PNPNCRPO under Chief Supt. Edgar Aglipay garnered the highest overall rating of 88.726 percent in the performance evaluation for the last two quarters.
The NCRPO placed third and first in terms of performance evaluation rating during the first and second quarters of the year, respectively. …
