A single word can put you on the right track, a second disturbs you, and at the third you panic. With the fourth, utter confusion reigns. The logos once meant action as well; it has become paralysis. What's a word? Whatever is not lived with ardent intensity .... If people talk so much about language it's because they're obsessed with what they lack .... Words no longer demonstrate, they chatter .... They stop silence from speaking.
