Final call for $5 flu shots in Elk Grove Village

For those Elk Grove Village residents who have been procrastinating getting a flu shot, time is running out.

The Elk Grove Village Health Department ends its series of flu clinics Thursday.

Flu shots cost $5, and residents 65 years old and older must bring their Medicare cards for special billing.

Billing for HMO, PPO or other insurance will not be performed.

On Thursday, flu shots will be available at the Charles J. Zettek Municipal Building from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
