Kenneth R. Behm Sr.
Services for Kenneth R. Behm Sr., 74, of Long Grove, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, at Ahlgrim & Sons Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Hwy., Palatine.
Born July 12, 1923, in Cleveland, Ohio, Mr. Behm died Wednesday, July 23, 1997, at his home. Interment will be in Eden Memorial Park Cemetery, Schiller Park.
Prior to his retirement, Mr. Behm worked in sales within the heating and air conditioning industry with Lennox & Bryant Corporations. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and a member of the Arlington Heights Masonic Lodge #1162 A. F. & A.M., chapter #144 R. A.M. of the Evanston Masonic Temple, Order of Amaranth Inc., of Arlington Heights, Evanston Commandry #58 Knights Templar, Northwest Suburban Shrine Club and Medinah Temple A. A. O. N. M. S. of Chicago. Mr. Behm also served as chairman of the Advisory Board for the Arlington Heights Assembly #81, International Order of Rainbow Girls for more than 10 years.
Survivors include his children, Michelle Behm of Long Grove, Kenneth R. (Beverly) Behm Jr. of Florida and Leslie (Kevin) Crowe of Arlington Heights; his grandchildren, Patrick Behm, and John and Lauren Crowe; his brother, Robert Behm of California and Fred Behm of Ohio; his stepsister, Ethel Cisman of Ohio; and his stepbrother, Gordon G. Thompson of Ohio.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Eunice M. Behm in March of 1996.
Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home with masonic services conducted by Arlington Heights Masonic Lodge #1162 A. F. & A.M. at 8 p.m.

Gwendlyn Mae Bohnert
Memorial services for Gwendlyn Mae Bohnert, 88, of Elk Grove Village, will be at 4 p.m. Saturday, at Oehler Funeral Home, 555 Lee St., Des Plaines.
Born June 22, 1909, in Arlington Heights, she passed away Tuesday, July 15, 1997, at Mountain Home. Interment will be private.
Mrs. Bohnert was the wife of the late Frank Bohnert, the late Delbert Hock and the late Fred Gardner; the mother of Robert (Kathryn) Hock of Elk Grove and Dolores J. Black of Des Plaines; the sister of Frances Kindhart of Arlington Heights and the late Marguerite Schmidt; the grandmother of eight; and the great-grandmother of six.
Visitation will be from noon until the time of the services Saturday, at the funeral home.

Mass for Ruth Cobarrubias (nee Rummell), 68, of Hanover Park, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, at St. Ansgar Church.
Mrs. Cobarrubias was born October 2, 1928, in Pontiac, Mich., and died Wednesday, July 23, 1997, at Alexian Brothers Medical Center. Interment will be in Lakewood Cemetery.
Survivors include her husband, Felix; sons, Santos (Millie), Felix Jr. (Artha), and John (Kari); daughters, Lily (James) Freiberg, Alice (Ralph) Forrest, Irene (Cris) Falcon, and Debra (Richard) Chaffee; 33 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.

Lee C. Cowles
Mass for Lee C. Cowles (nee Peters) of Arlington Heights, formerly of Mount Prospect, will be at 10 a.m. Friday, at St. Raymond Church in Mount Prospect.
Mrs. Cowles, who was born in Quincy, died Tuesday, July 22, 1997, at the Moorings of Arlington Heights. Burial will be in All Saints Cemetery.
She was a retired stenographer for Chicago, Northwestern Railroad. Mrs. Cowles was preceded in death by her husband, Robert G. Cowles, who was president of Field Newspapers Syndicated; and sisters, Zeta Aikens and Ethel Starnes.
