Peninsula Colorslide Club's Parks-Eugene Service Award
The Peninsula Colorslide Club (California), celebrating its 50th anniversary year in 2000, added another name to its Service Award to honor a dedicated member. First established in 1978 and originally called "The President's Award," this Service Award was renamed the "Irving Parks Memorial Award" in 1982. In 2000 the club recognized the contributions to the club of another member, Ken Eugene, and thus the award is now called the "Parks-Eugene Service Award."
